The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection chief announced his resignation today, saying he planned to return to his law firm next month. DEP Secretary Michael Krancer said he'll start work at Blank Rome LLP, one of the country's largest law firms, immediately after he leaves the state post on April 15. Krancer will lead the firm's Energy, Petrochemical and Natural Resources Practice at the firm's Philadelphia office.
